The cost of time was always a big concern. For the time I spent on this very detailed painting I would probably produce 35-40 small 6”x6” paintings (click HERE to see it side by side with 6"x6"). On the other hand I knew that big, bold, inviting energy can only be achieved with a large canvas. When I finally committed myself to this project it took even longer than I anticipated but the results worth the effort.
