The program was introduced by Shirley Jones, Star of the Motion Picture version of Carousel, who accompanied Nancy to the Santa Monica Pier, where many of the photographs for the show were taken. Nancy was nominated for an Emmy Award for Art Direction of this broadcast. Another print from the series has been created, the Black Carousel Horse Photo, which is also being offered in LeMay Gallery, our Ebay Store. Nancy LeMay is listed in Whos Who in American Art and Whos Who in American Women. Her diverse career has spanned more than 30 years; her first commercial job was a logotype design for the City of New York, done while she was a sophomore at the High School of Art & Design. A graduate of the School of Visual Arts, she is the proud winner of five Emmy Awards for Art Direction and Broadcast Design, as well as three awards from the Broadcast Designer's Association and four awards from the Associated Press. Her graphic design work is featured in the book "White Graphics", published by Rockport Press.
