The impressive white heron takes up company here with a little cattle egret in a work that showcases the delicacy of these two graceful American wading birds. The ubiquitous egret and the shy heron are sisters under the skin... The flowing style and blue shades suggest the watery worlds they inhabit. Nancy LeMay is listed in Whos Who in American Art and Whos Who in American Women. Her diverse career has spanned more than 30 years; her first commercial job was a logotype design for the City of New York, done while she was a sophomore at the High School of Art & Design. A graduate of the School of Visual Arts, she is the proud winner of five Emmy Awards for Art Direction and Broadcast Design, as well as three awards from the Broadcast Designer's Association and four awards from the Associated Press. Her graphic design work is featured in the book "White Graphics", published by Rockport Press.
