This pair of macaws, in bright red, blue and yellow plumage, are sweet and fun examples of this exceptionally impressive bird. The bird in the front is cheerfully looking out for it's buddy, who is concentrating on preening. The watercolor's style is lively and straightforward, much like the subject matter itself. Nancy LeMay is listed in Whos Who in American Art and Whos Who in American Women. Her diverse career has spanned more than 30 years; her first commercial job was a logotype design for the City of New York, done while she was a sophomore at the High School of Art & Design. A graduate of the School of Visual Arts, she is the proud winner of five Emmy Awards for Art Direction and Broadcast Design, as well as three awards from the Broadcast Designer's Association and four awards from the Associated Press. Her graphic design work is featured in the book "White Graphics", published by Rockport Press.
