    ts nice to be back, now i will be focused on learning this stuff.

    there is a lot of question in my mind but first thing i want to
    ask is, what kind of media container is allowed as an input file?

    is it okey if i use mkv file then the output container is also mkv?

    follow upquestion, what about if the file im going to encode is 2 parts, how am i going to encode the file to have a single file output?

    im able to encode video successfully with a size that range from 90MB or less, actually it is 83mB only, my problem now is the subtitle didnt show up

    mux subtitle to it using mkvmerge

    thanks, what about if the source file i used is already an enocoded one like an avi file. i wnat to re encode to avi so make a small size video. is the process for encoding anime and movie the same? or it is encoded differently?

    does mkvmerge the same as mkvcleaver? and i need that mkvtoolnix right?
